Product Features

The Dior Latex Mattress is our firmest mattress from the 7-Zone latex chart. It features the same European designed, 7-Zone Talalay natural latex mattress core as the Christina Latex Quilt-Top Mattress. In the Dior Latex Mattress, the 7-Zone latex core is wrapped in layers of California grown, staple cotton padding and contained in our breathable and soft, Belgian 100% cotton covering. Our craftsmen hand tuft the mattress with European tufting straps to pre-compress the layers of staple cotton padding to minimize body imprint, prevent shifting of materials, and provide extra support.
ï¿½ The 7-Zone natural latex core was designed, based upon sleep studies at the Kirschgartenclinic in Basil, Switzerland by Swiss researcher and sleep specialist, Dr. Dietrich Scheneider-Helmert. The 7-Zone design was found to provide optimal sleeping comfort and ergonomic support to all parts of the body.

ï¿½ Our optional 3ï¿½ thick Capucine III Pillowtop Pad provides extra cushioning for a softer and cozier feel, while still achieving the benefits of the zoning of the mattress. The firmness rating is a 4 when the Latex Mattress is used with the Capucine III Pillowtop Pad.

MATTRESS HEIGHTS
The mattress is approximately 8" thick, and overall mattress height to the floor on our 8" thick box spring and a 7" metal frame is about 23". (optional pillowtop pads will increase overall height)
MATTRESS AND BOX SPRING CUTAWAY DESCRIPTION
1. Belgian Cotton Ticking ventilates body heat and provides luxurious feel.
2. Hand Tufting with European Tufting Straps pre-compresses the cotton padding for orthopedic back support and to minimize body impressions. No buttons to pop off, or digging into ribs.
3. Layers of pre-compressed, Staple Cotton Padding for extra cushioning.
4. Ergonomically designed, 7-ZONE natural latex mattress core combines shoulder and hip flexibility for pressure point relief and comfort with firmer support for the lower back.
5. Staple Cotton Padding provides a layer of natural cushioning on top of the box spring coils for extended mattress life, rather than mattress resting on bare box spring coils with only a thin insulator pad.
6. Odorless and hypoallergenic insulator pad prevents cotton padding from pocketing into the box spring coils.
7. Double Diamond Box Spring provides extra durable, 8 3/4 gauge box spring wiring with 22% more coils than an average "good quality" box spring, and with 50% more coils in the center-third where it's needed most. Heavy duty, 5 Star Hotel Grade Wide Slat Wood Frame for durability and support.
